T.
Roberts Appel, II has retired from the practice of law as of January,
2005. He obtained his A.B., with honors in Mathematics, from the
University
of Pennsylvania
in 1957 and
his LL.B.
from Harvard
Law
School in 1960. Mr. Appel served as a member of the House of Delegates
of the Pennsylvania Bar Association from 1982 to 1988. Mr. Appel
was also the first president of the Lancaster City Council in 1966.
He served as an Arbitrator on construction cases for the American
Arbitration Association. He practiced primarily in the areas of
estate planning and settlement, business
transactions,
mergers
and acquisitions,
commercial
real estate, corporation and partnership law and taxation.
